Day Three

So I didn't have a chance to post yesterday, but I thought I'd give an update on how things have been going the last 48 or so hours. So... Body bugg is still on and working. My first official day (yesteryday) I burned over 2800 calories and only at 1500. So I had a LARGE defiect the first day! I thought it would be REALLY hard to burn 1000 calories more than I eat, but really it wasn't. I played some XBOX 360 kinect in the afternoon and went shopping and that pretty much helped me to meet my goal. So far I feel like this is really maintainable. Yesterday morning I weighed in at 236.6 and this morning I was 236.4. I'm feeling encouraged and excited to see how many calories I can burn today.

Day One

So today I got a Body Bugg... Check out www.bodybugg.com if you don't know what it is. I thought maybe this would be a good way to document my journey in this world of weight loss. I've decided that my goal is to lose 2 pounds a week so in order to do that I have to burn 1000 calories more than I eat every day. The BB (Body Bugg) program says that I should eat 1600 calories and burn 2600 each day. So this my friends is the goal. Each day (maybe every few days) I'll update you on my progress, frustrations and wins. At a 2 pound per week loss I should be at my goal weight (150lbs) by November! Which seems REALLY far away. I can't really count today since I haven't had the BB all day, but my journey officially starts tonight at midnight. Wish me luck! More to come tomorrow. Also, tomorrow I'll have my starting weight. YIKES!
